Understanding ADD / ADHD

ADD / ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that may affect attention, impulsivity, executive functioning, and emotional regulation. Symptoms can vary widely from person to person and may look different in children, teens, and adults.

Common symptoms may include:

  • Difficulty sustaining focus
  • Forgetfulness or losing items frequently
  • Trouble with organization or time management
  • Restlessness or feeling mentally “on the go”
  • Impulsivity or difficulty pausing before reacting
  • Struggles with task initiation or completing responsibilities
  • Emotional overwhelm or frustration more easily than expected

Supportive care can help clarify symptom patterns, reduce day-to-day stress, and improve overall functioning.

How MindBridge Supports ADD / ADHD Symptoms

Support for ADD / ADHD at MindBridge is personalized and collaborative. We focus on understanding your symptoms, identifying contributing factors, and building a plan that fits your goals and daily life.

  • Medication management, when appropriate, to support attention, focus, and symptom regulation
  • Supportive therapy, focused on coping skills, emotional support, and strategies for daily functioning
  • Education and guidance to better understand symptoms and improve self-awareness

We work with you to make informed decisions, at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive.
